Talakag Bukidnon


This 12 ounce bag of Arabica from the Bukidnon of Mindanao in the Philippines will delight the senses. The natural process brings the fruit flavors to the front with a finish of chocolate along with some floral notes.

The industry standard is 12 ounces due to the amount of weight lost during the roasting process.  A 20% weight loss accounts for 3.2 ounces lost during roasting.

This coffee was grown by Arnel Garciano (orange jacket) on a .5 hectare in the Talakag region of the Bukidnon. Arnel got into coffee for the livelihood of the family along with education of his children. The coffee trees are inter-cropped with vegetables.

The coffee was processed by IMDALSA Agrarian Reform Cooperative. They assist the coffee farmers located at the base of Mt. Kitanglad in the Bukidnon Region of Mindanao.

Venture Coffee Company is vertically integrated with our in country partner, TribungKape. The staff at TribungKape visit all the farmers and farmer organization prior to purchasing any green coffee beans. Training is conducted to ensure the best quality coffee is produced.
